Times Herald-Record: Letter: Elect Antonio Delgado in Congressional District 19

John Faso voted to take healthcare away from millions of his constituents when he voted to repeal the ACA. Faso also supported the Concealed Carry Reciprocity Act that would allow anyone with a concealed gun carry permit from any state to bring a loaded firearm to any city, town and village in New York, even if it violates the laws of our state. He voted to make New Yorkers less safe from gun violence and voted to take health care from millions to boot.

How do these votes, as well many others that are not in the interest of New Yorkers, serve his constituents? When Faso was sworn in, he took an oath to uphold the Constitution of the United States. Apparently Faso’s loyalty is not to his constituents nor the Constitution, but the Republican Party of Trump and the NRA. Elect a representative who will uphold the oath of his office – to care for and represent the needs of the people of our district. Elect Antonio Delgado in November. Born in Syracuse into a working family, Delgado worked hard to achieve his education and success in his career. He now hopes to work for the people of CD19.
