Delgado Looks Forward to Debates

Antonio Delgado will participate in four debates where voters will hear his plan to make healthcare more affordable and accessible for everyone. The people of NY-19 deserve to hear answers on important issues, like why John Faso voted to take away healthcare coverage, gut protections for people with pre-existing conditions and defund Planned Parenthood.

The first debate between Faso and Delgado will be hosted by WMHT at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 19th and will re-air at 8:30 p.m. It will also be live-streamed at NYNOW.org. More information can be found here.

The second debate will be hosted by WAMC at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 22nd. More information can be found here

The third debate between Faso and Delgado will be hosted by Spectrum News at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 23rd at the Woodstock Playhouse. More information can be found here.

The fourth debate between Faso and Delgado will be hosted by the Times Herald-Record at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 29th at SUNY Sullivan. More information can be found here

Delgado has also made a commitment to hold 11 public town halls – one in each county in NY-19 – and has held seven so far in Cairo, Monticello, Deposit, Walton, Oneonta, Hoosick Falls, and Kinderhook.

“The contrast between Antonio and John Faso is clear,” said Delgado for Congress Campaign Manager Allyson Marcus. “These debates provide an opportunity to hold Faso accountable and ask why he voted to take away healthcare coverage or why he is hiding from his own constituents. Antonio is committed to engaging with people of all political affiliations, beliefs and backgrounds because that’s what real representation is all about.”
