Congressman-elect Antonio Delgado names Amanda Boomhower to be NY-19 District Director

Congressman-elect Antonio Delgado is proud to announce that Amanda Boomhower will serve as his District Director in New York’s 19th Congressional District. Boomhower will oversee all district offices and constituent services, including representing Congressman-elect Delgado at local meetings and events.

“With her deep ties to upstate New York and commitment to serving the people here – at state, congressional and local levels – Amanda brings experience and dedication to the position of District Director,” said Delgado. “She knows what it takes to provide quality services and representation to our constituents and will lead a team dedicated to being accessible and transparent by serving everyone with accountability and integrity.”

I look forward to following through on Congressman-elect Delgado’s commitment to be accessible to everyone by providing exceptional constituent services and outreach across all eleven counties in NY-19.”

Boomhower brings a decade of public service experience and is an active community member and volunteer in Greene County. She most recently worked as special assistant in the New York State Office of General Services. She previously worked as federal liaison for Congressman Maurice Hinchey, handling constituent inquiries pertaining to the U.S. Departments of State, Homeland Security, Defense, Veterans Affairs and Education. Boomhower has also worked as Deputy District Director for Congressman Scott Murphy, a position that included managing his regional office in Hudson, having been promoted from regional representative and constituent representative. She began her career in the office of former Congresswoman and current Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, assisting with constituent services. Boomhower is a graduate of Skidmore College and Columbia Greene Community College. She lives in Athens, New York.
