Delgado for Congress Releases New Ads Featuring 11 Town Halls
Today, Delgado for Congress released new ads highlighting Rep. Antonio Delgado’s engagement across NY-19 in his first 100 days in Congress. The ads, featuring video footage from his recent town hall events, demonstrate Delgado’s commitment to serving his constituents by bringing people together and being accountable. In his first 11 weeks in Congress, Delgado held 11 town halls, one in every county in the district.

In addition to 11 town halls, Delgado has formed in-district advisory committees on veterans and agricultural issues, opened three district offices, led the introduction of the Medicare-X Choice Act as the best way to achieve universal healthcare by creating a public option, introduced legislation addressing water contamination issues like the ones impacting Petersburgh and Hoosick Falls, and co-sponsored more than 60 bills on issues from equal pay for equal work to repealing the SALT cap.
“I’m here to do the work. I’m here to find common ground,” Delgado said during a town hall featured in the new video. “It doesn’t mean we’re not going to have differences. We can do so in an agreeable fashion. We can do so with civility.”
“Everywhere I go we’ve been able to have thoughtful, really respectful conversations because we are all in this together,” Delgado said. “So, all I can do is give you the truth.”
Delgado is dedicated to staying focused on bringing the issues and priorities of people in Upstate New York with him to Washington in order to work towards finding achievable solutions.
The new ads are the first released by the campaign since winning the election in November 2018 and will air on digital platforms throughout New York’s 19th Congressional District.
