The Delgado for Congress campaign is proud to announce that 1199SEIU United Healthcare Workers East has endorsed Antonio Delgado for Congress in New York’s 19th congressional district. 1199SEIU, the largest healthcare union in the nation, represents the rights of caregivers working in hospitals, nursing homes, home care, clinics, pharmacies and all other areas of the healthcare industry.

Our campaign is proud to announce that the Working Families Party and NYSUT have endorsed Antonio Delgado for Congress in New York’s 19th congressional district. Earlier today, at a standing-room only press conference in Kingston, members from both groups announced their support.

John Faso thinks the biggest issue for employers here in our district is trying to find qualified people to fill jobs. Just a few weeks ago I spoke with a Woodstock resident who has a Master's degree and is still  working three jobs just to make ends meet. Other people tell me they work a full time job during the day and a part time job at night just to pay their rent and support their family.
